Healthcare technology specialist MSoft, which is based at Ellesmere Port, has won a series of contracts to provide blood tracking security systems to hospitals.
It has been working with the blood bank team at the Royal Liverpool Hospital to develop the programme, which provides an in-depth audit of blood throughout the transfusion process in order to get the "right blood into the right patient".
