A Reel Success – MSoft’s First Video Production
MSoft have produced their own “YouTube-style” video demonstrating some of the features of BloodHound, one of the most innovative blood tracking solutions in the market. The company made a decision to do this after receiving a number of enquiries from overseas hospitals and organisations.
According to Managing Director Matt McAlister; “BloodHound is in numerous hospitals up and down the country, so we’re used to travelling to give product demos, but when you get enquiries from as far afield as New Zealand this isn’t so straight forward. We needed to be able to show people how the system works and felt that a video was the quickest and most effective way to do this. Rather than use an expensive production company we decided to produce it in-house and I think we’ve shown that in the modern era of video streaming you don’t need expensive production values to adequately demonstrate how our software works. If a picture is worth a thousand words then a video is worth a thousand pictures. We have been able to demonstrate more product features in a two minute video then we could in dozens of text pages, even if those pages had screenshots and illustrations. ”
The video stars MSoft’s own Ryan Hirst, a Technical Consultant who regularly provides live product demonstrations and training on the BloodHound Software. Ryan commented; “I’d never done anything like this before. For some reason I was more nervous getting in front of a camera then I was giving a product demonstration to a room full of people. But it was all good fun. Whilst I don’t expect to get a call up to be a TV presenter anytime soon, I hope I’ve been able to demonstrate just how easy it is to use the BloodHound System”.
